The Natural Family - A ManifestoAnticipated revisions to the Gender Policy have raised several alarms about possible threats to the sanctity of the Natural Family. But what is the Natural Family? Is the Natural Family still relevant in today's society? Why should you or I be concerned about threats to the Natural Family?
The attached article "The Natural Family - A manifesto" clearly outlines why we ALL should be concerned. In the words or Mrs. Rebekha Ali-Gouveia, known activist and Founder/Director of the Elpis Centre - a Pregnancy and Family Resource Centre "This is what we should be fighting for not gender equality (the anti thesis of the family) & anti discrimination unfounded laws & policies! Let's be honest; children do best in the natural family where they could be loved & cared for. Parents are not perfect but they are not the enemies. The few rogue ones should be dealt with without sacrificing all our children on the alter of freedom.. " Thus as you read the Manifesto and you reflect on the current attempts within our country to further undermine the sanctity of the Natural Family, determine whether or not you are prepared to stand! IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE AUSTRALIAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION
Sex education: what happens after civil unions and gay marriage?
http://www.family.org.au/index.php Same-sex education When countries have re-defined marriage through 'gay marriage' (in fewer than 5% of the world's nations) or gay union laws, radical changes to early schooling curricula have soon followed. For example in Massachusetts, USA Robb and Robin Wirthlin were shocked that their 7 year old was taught in second grade that a man can marry a man. The teacher read a book to the class "King and King" which normalised the concept of homosexual romance and gay marriage to very young children. The next step: Gender identity education In 2006 the Australian Education Union adopted a 'gender identity' education policy. It aimed to change the way school curricula dealt with Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (GLBTI) people. The policy states, "Discriminatory practices such as homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, heterosexism, and monosexism are infringements of members’ rights and as such are to be challenged and eliminated." (Section 1) The AEU policy further states, "Educational Institutions must implement strategies to counter homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, heterosexism and monosexism. The use of language is important when teaching, gender neutral terms must be used e.g partner instead of boyfriend or girlfriend. Educational Institutions should affirm diversity. As with sexism and racism, homophobic biphobic and transphobic remarks or actions should never pass without comment." (Section 3.3.2) The AEU promotes that all curricula relating to health and personal development need to be changed, "All curriculum should be written in non-heterosexist language. Sexuality should be included in all curriculum relating to health and personal development. Homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism and intersex need to be normalised and all states need to develop material which will help to combat homophobia, biphobia and transphobia." (Section 3.3.3) This so-called gender identity education, which followed the introduction of gay marriage in Canada, involves asking kindergarten, primary and secondary school students to question whether they are a boy or a girl or transexual, transgendered, intersexed or two spirited. In this video, the Institute for Canadian values calls for an end to the 'corruption' of children subjected to the The Toronto School District Board's 223 page gender identity policy, "Challenging homophobia and heterosexism: K-12 curriculum resource guide". Parents who wish to remove their children from classes pushing this agenda are refused. The policy is that, "if a parent asks for his or her child to be exempted for any discussions of LGBTQ family issues as a religious accommodation, this request cannot be made". (Read the guide PDF) See the video below where Dr. Miriam Grossman testifies on bill SB48 before California Legislature in late 2010. SB48 would require all public schools - and all textbooks - to actively portray homosexuality and transgenderism / cross-dressing in a positive light - including figures and events in "gay history." The AFA upholds that parents, not the state, are charged with the responsibility to educate their children. Parents who wish to mantain their freedom to oversee what their children learn should oppose civil union and gay marriage laws. The false "it is inevitable" argument Only six US states and the District of Columbia have legalised same-sex marriage. However, in each case where homosexual marriage has been legalised, it has been imposed either by activist judges (as in Connecticut, Iowa and Massachusetts) or by state legislatures (as in Vermont, New Hampshire, New York and Washington DC). Yet, in all of the 30 states where referenda have allowed the people to have the final say on whether or not marriage should be between one man and one woman only, the majority have always voted for traditional marriage. GENDER POLICY BULLETIN - Issued 6th June 2012Issued By: Rebekah Ali-Gouveia Llb, Lpc,Pgcert
THE IMPACT OF REDEFINING GENDER It is our firm view that the attempt to redefine gender must be resisted with all our energies. Sexual freedom is not free and is not more important than life. SAY NO! IT IS YOUR RIGHT and RESPONSIBILITY as a citizen of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. Page 1 of the National Gender Policy sub titled ‘what does it mean for T & T?’ issued by the Ministry of Gender, Youth & Child Development on the 16th day of May 2012 proceeds to define gender as being learned through the process of socialization and not ‘SEX” which is biological and refers to the biological reproductive system; that is male and female. As stated by Dale O Leary: author of gender equality and a colleague who reviewed the policy; “use of the word ‘gender’ rather than ‘sex’ can have unforeseen consequences. The two words are not synonyms as the document (ie the 2009 Gender policy document) clearly states: Gender refers to the social roles, responsibilities, behaviours, attitudes and identities deemed particular to men and women, and boys and girls, as a consequence of social, cultural and historical factors, as opposed to biological differences which are termed sex. The separation of sex (everything that is meant by male and female) into sex (the biological differences) and gender (the social reality) was invented by John Money, who used it to argue that a person who was biologically male could have a female gender identity. This lead to Money’s support of so-called sex change operations, the mutilation of children with disorders of sexual development, and the forwarding of transgender activism. Today, men who want to dress as women (without any surgical alteration) are lobbying to use women’s restrooms and marry men. It has also seen the rise of genderqueer – people who reject being permanently identified as either male or female. “ According to Family Watch International; ‘It is the goal of the sexual rights agenda to make ‘gender’ mean in laws and policies something that one feels or chooses rather than what someone is (male or female). This international movement seeking to redefine gender to encompass more than male & female means the definition will include homosexual male, homosexual female, transgender male, transgender female, bi sexual and any other emerging combination.’ The Australian human rights commission has documented 23 types of gender! IF THIS WORD IS REDEFINED; it will open wide the floodgates for the reshaping of every other policy and law where this word is used; including the constitution of Trinidad & Tobago! NEXT WILL COME repeal of the buggery laws, INDOCTRINATION of our children, suppression of RELIGIOUS FREEDOM & FREEDOM OF SPEECH through anti discrimination laws, SAME SEX UNIONS, SAME SEX Adoptions. Lawyers for Jesus sounds the call! - Press Conference to be held on June 8th 2012T & T Voices in Action stands in solidarity with Lawyers for Jesus in calling upon the Government of this land to be candid about their legislative agenda and give full disclosure as to their position on Same Sex Marriage and Abortion.

Debating Homosexuality: Understanding 2 ViewsIn recent weeks discussions about the issue of Homosexuality have taken an ominous turn, with some parties on both sides of the debate, seeking to undermine the counteracting view by spreading hate related propaganda.
This move is not one that is supported by the members of the TNT Action Group, which bases its stance against the legalization of Same Sex Marriage on peer reviewed and internationally accepted research data within the public domain. The Group understands that there are many facets of this very controversial topic and as such we present for your enlightenment an in-depth analysis of both aspects of the Homosexuality debate, as presented by the US based Family Research Council. San Jose Articles - Abortion and the Unborn Child in International LawIt is now commonplace that people around the world are told there is a new international right to abortion. The assertion they make is false. No UN treaty makes abortion an international human right.
The purpose of the San Jose Articles is to provide expert testimony that no such right exists. The San Jose Articles were prepared by a group of 31 experts in international law, international relations, international organizations, public health, science/medicine and government. The signers include law professors, philosophers, Parliamentarians, Ambassadors, human rights lawyers, and delegates to the UN General Assembly. Is President Obama right? What the Bible says about gay marriage and homosexuality
By James C Denison, Ph.D. President Barack Obama made history with his recent declaration, "It is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married." Legalizing abortion would make the procedure safer, since it would be performed in sanitary, well equipped offices and clinics under the supervision of trained medical personnel - or so the argument went.
Thirty years later, many of the nation's abortion clinics are the true "back-alleys" of abortion mythology. Every year thousands of American women are injured, undergo hysterectomies, endure the pain of infertility, or even die because of substandard care at abortion clinics....Read More..
